Trying VirtualBox already got me uncomfortable enough. VariCAD has a very hard to use interface and generally feels very unintuitive to use, while also being more expensive than F360. As I'm used to the simple workflow with Fusion 360, all the software I tried just didn't seem right for a replacement (especially not for the cost).įreeCAD is great, but it simply lacks a lot of features and is generally really slow to work with. I tried many, many different versions of Lutris, had people help me, to the final conclusion that Autodesk Fusion 360 is impossible to run with WINE. Windows was a pain and made me lose so much time from random blue screens, corrupt drivers and instability.Īs for the move, I had no issues setting everything up. ![]() For New Years, I decided to finally do the move to Linux. ![]()
